Bunny peeing on baseboards outside of cage

Hi,
My family is bunnysitting two buns for the summer and we have a big problem...they are somehow peeing on the baseboards outside of the litter box! We are thinking of moving the litterbox in a different location so they can't do this anymore, as of the litterbox is like right next to the wall. Any other suggestions????? Thanks!

Put the box inside a cardboard box and cut down a small ingress in the front--worked well for us. Spike used to get in the box but his backside hung over and he hit the floor half the time. Now, all is contained.
