Bunny has dried banana gunked in his hair

Any advice how I can clean this sticky mess out from under his chin? A wet paper towel is doing nothing but making him more angry

Best option would be a warm damp cloth, otherwise he will probably eventually get most of it off on his own.

I'll try the warm damp cloth. I always tend to worry when I see them eating their own hair

if you have some small animal shampoo, you can try dipping the washcloth in a bowl of warm water that has some of the shampoo added. Dawn (liquid dish soap) is also safe to use on animals - it's what my vet recommended the time I put some cooking oil on my little Nala when she was 9 weeks old in a misguided attempt to get her head unstuck from a NIC grid.

Thanks, I just tried some cooking oil and after all his grunts and slapping my hands away, I was finally able to un-gunk his hair
