when i bought lyla she had soft fur but now thatshe has matured its is even more soft like super soft. that seems oddto me because most animals start w/ really soft fur and asthey mature it isnt as soft.she is a holland lop, is that somethingthat is breed specific or is that the case with all bunnys?

thank you sara

I may depend on the rabbit, Hutch has always hadsoft fur, it has started to become smoother over her body than soft, but maybe thats all the cleaning she does to imprees Huggy! :D

Holland Lops do have a softer "rollback" coatwith less of thestrong, thickguard hairs. The Hollands with a wooly coat will often have fur similar to a veryyoung rabbit.
