Bunny Fortress of Doom

My bunny Linus is obsessed with getting underneath my bed. I've bu

ilt a series of cardboard barriers which he has subsequently chewed through, and once he is in what I have taken to calling "The Fortress of Doom," he is nearly impossible to get out. I'd like to build a sturdier barrier, but I'm not sure what material would be both safe and bunny-tooth-proof. Any ideas/helpful advice?

we layered cardboard boxes with a piece of tile as the second layer--if they got through the first, they would have to do blasting to get through the next layer. Also used 3/8 in. plywood around the base of the recliners--just made a tight fitting box and set the chairs inside. The computer desk was boxed in with 1/2 in. pine to keep all the wires safe.

I've had good luck with using wire shelving - the kind you get to organize closets, etc. It's pretty cheap at Lowe's or Home Depot and comes in several lengths. Just zip tie it together around the perimeter of the bed. It seems to be the perfect height too.

This is the sort of shelving that I use. It's also great for blocking off wires.

NIC storage cubes ziptied together and when u want to get under ur bed it will fold up like an accordion....they work everywhere..

I use the same shelving Patti does. It's neat and works great. Home depot has them.

I continue to use this shelving in many places all over the house. Cheap and effective!!
