Bunny Binkies... 24/7

So... He's binkied from the moment he was out of his cage, and constantly binkies still. Everyday I'de say a 3rd of his play time is spent spazing out! I've noticed he seems to do it in reaction to noise, and I think he likes to be chased. He also will copy a head wobble most times. Since he reacts to the noise... its almost like he jumps... then spazes all over the room. He is binkying right? He doesnt act scared, but if he hears a bang or scratching sound its enough to set him off.. it that normal? :bunnydance:

It sounds like Tony and this other bunny I know from the shelter. They like to be chased and to be scolded for doing bad things! If he's shaking his head while he's doing this, it's probably binkies. Of course, if he's not and his eyes are really big, he's running to places to hide, etc, he could be frightened.

I dont think he's scared... Ill try to get a video. He likes the camera though. Hes likely to stop and pose haha.

Yeah, I agree with Claire - I'd check out the eyes. If his eyes are bugging out, he might be scared. If he looks normal, then he's probably binkying. If they are scared for their lives, darting around in unexpected patterns is a rabbit's escape tactic, so predators can't catch em, and they will try to run for cover.

He only tries to run for cover to avoid going back in his cage... I think he's binkying.. I've just had several rabbits with no binkies... he just does it so much. in the process of trying to get a video now. I agree with tony's human, I tinhk he just likes to be punished... he will nibble something so I'll slide my foot across the carpet... and he jumps straight up in the air.. like 2 ft (mind you he's a baby lionhead, so thats pretty high), the hops around like mad, shaking his head. He also begs to be let out. I dont think he'd do that if he was scared. I guess I was just wondering if my bun was weird lol

Hmmmm it's a little hard to tell if he's jumping and twisting/kicking or not. I don't know if I'd consider that a "binky" - I would consider it happy bunny running. Maybe even a "Bunny 500"
