Building a hutch

So, my husband and I are talking about building a rabbit hutch for my Lionhead buck and I need some help from people that have rabbits. He is currently in a very large ferret cage, but i want something up off the ground and with more room.
So this is what we are thinking, a 4x4 hutch, with the floor and roof with plywood, and obviously the wood framing and then chicken wire for the outside... Does this seem like a good idea? Good size for a Lionhead? I'd love the feedback!

Also, what is a good natural chew toy for them? I've heard pinecones, but i wasn't sure about that. Thank you!!!

you may want to put laminate tiles on the floor. the pee might rot the wood.

Even if my bun is potty trained? He is really good about using his litter box

If he is litter box trained, I wouldn't think so.

I guess just in case he has an accident or misses. The smell on the wood would then be nasty.
