Both my outside females rabbits are ripping out their fur!

I find chuncks of fur on both side of their cages! I'm worried, can someone please tell me why they would be doing this? it's fall, so it can't be shedding, or something. It's been VERY hot though these past couple of days.

Rabbits generally molt their coats four times a year alternating a heavy and a light molt. Does it look like there are tufts of loose fur on them as well? I'm guessing they're in a molt, unless it looks more like they're nesting?

Ours are molting right now too.

Mine is going through another molt. Are they fighting or pregnant? Do they have loose tufts of fur hanging?
