Bonding-with-your-bunny stories?

I was hoping that some of you could share your experiences of bonding with your bunnies? Astro's been steadily gaining confidence in the last three weeks, but he can still be so timid around me, and he's so easily startled. What kinds of things have you mommies and daddies done to make your bunnies more comfortable in their new homes?

My 11 and a half year old Trixie rode on my chest for her first ride home when she was 6-8 weeks old. That started the bond. Then I took her into the loo with me when I would shower. We were in love immediately!!!!! The second she hears my voice, she goes nuts!!!!! I used to talk to her on the phone on my way home from work (wifey would turn on speaker phone and Trix would lick the phone).

Yes, I am a very, very weird bunny dad and PROUD of it!!!!!!

Spends LOTS of time with your little man, that is all I can say. Astro is just a handsome and cute little bunny!!!!! You have to be his big protector, that's all.
