Hi everyone!
I am on week three of bonding my two, Doc and Beatrix. They have been doing great, especially in comparison with the last girl Doc and I tried. Last night we had our longest bonding session yet - just over 4 hours in my bathroom, along with a litterbox for the last hour or so. (Talk about things we do for our rabbits, I was so uncomfortable sitting on that tile!) However, they are still prone to a little nipping. I mostly see this occurring if Trix is becoming impatient while waiting for Doc to groom her, but it also happens more randomly. Typically I'll wait and see how it pans out, as it's usually a light nip and the other rabbit will hop away and not be pursued by the nipping rabbit. Sometimes a nip will receive a more aggressive response and I have to step in. How much of this should I allow? Does this sound like they're just trying to sort of the dynamic of their relationship?
