I was using a rabbit furminator on my little Netherland dwarf mix and I realized that a lot the hair I was getting was white. Is that pretty normal? She's definitely shedding so I helped her out and a lot of hair came out. I've read that that's okay though and little bald spots are normal while they're shedding. Here's a picture so you can sort of see the white I'm talking about. ImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1414436667.561502.jpg
She's normally all black so I thought it was interesting.

Black rabbits tend to have a lighter undercoat. It's just how it grows. An interesting thing with angora rabbits, is that the colour is lighter than you would expect, so a black angora won't be a dark black, you have to look at the face to see the 'real' colour.
