These were given to the rescue and I want to know if anyone has heard of them and it is good.

Big Red is sold by our local Agway Feed Stores. It is their own inexpensive brand. It's a basic lower protein pellet. My only complaint is that a timothy hay should be fed with it. I find the fiber to be on the lower side and sometimes inconsistant. (The mix in the winter/spring seems to be better than the stuff I've seen in the summer .)

I won't use it for my Flemish but I've had rescue buns come in on it that did fine.
 
Usually what I do with a not so good pellets is mix in alittle to the good pellets. Just to add a bit more and stretch it out. I use soooo much pellets here.
 
That would work well... stretch out the good stuff and use up the cheaper stuff.... I sympathize with the pellet consumption... gets SO expensive. :sigh:
