I don't know if this is OK to post, but because I feel she was an important person, I will post it here anyway. I will just be posting her obituary and her article on Wikipedia, for those who don't know who she was.

I will say this, she was a pin-up girl, known for her, well, "different" for the times photographs. Being that she did some adult modeling, I will just say this: MAY CONTAIN SOME INFORMATION THAT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. There, I put up a disclaimer :)

I will include one not-so-bad photograph for the younger people so they don't have to go onto the sites (none of the photos are bad, but because they were once considered "pornographic" I don't want to get in trouble!)

I missed this thread..

Alot of rollergirls have Bettie Page bangs. I myself roll with the black hair and blood red lips, and during down time have some knee high stacked heel platform rounded toe boots that button all the way up the side. We always refer to em as the Bettie Page B**ch Boots..

I have a Bettie Page T-Shirt and several books on her..

It saddens me that we lost her, but she lived a long life.. sometimes tormented, and she paved the way for alot of women, and gave them strength..

RIP Bettie Page..

I don't really agree with her kind of people, but I do love the fact she was a real woman. She wasn't some twig thing men wanted after. She was shaped like a woman should be. And if people have to crave something, at least it was an image of truth.

I'm glad for Bettie Page, Mae West, and Monroe.

May not like the sexual display that they were known for, but they were real woman.
woman shouldn't be following the sticks they see now, but rather looking back to what we used to love.

I've had people tell me I looked like betty paige back when I had bangs. That was one of the best compliments of my life. I admire betty paige as well. Regardless of her profession, she was a very strong, beautiful, and smart woman, with curves baby!! And let's face it, the pronography of yester years is nothing compared to what we have to deal with today all over the internet! Betty paige had a lot of class.
