Benefits of Omega-3

I just read an article on a study done on the benefits of fish oil containing omega-3 fattyacids. The study was specific to cancer patients and how the fish oil helped to prevent weight and muscle loss and in some cases led to weight gain. The study indicated that omega-3 may also in hibit tumor growth.

Well, I certainly hope they didn't spend too much on that study -- I would have just given the patients Nutri-Cal, which contains omega-3fatty acids

"There are a lot of fish in the sea" as there area lot of different viewpoints about the benefits of Omega-3, cod liver oil, etc. It has been recommended by doctors for years for many different ailments.

It's almost like every Thanksgiving Day, we either hear how turkey will kill us one year or is the best thing since sliced bread for us the next. :?
