We've had our bunny a little over 2 weeks. He was neutered on Friday. Today he bit me! It's the first time he's done this. It hurt :( So my question is.... is this maybe a temporary behavior? I was hoping the neuter would help with calming (he didn't bit before, but would lunge) and litter training (no luck so far!) and of course health reasons.

Post neuter can sometimes cause issues. It's almost like they can get a surge of hormones that cause extra behavioral issues, before the hormones completely fade at 4-8 weeks. Another possibility is the neuter experience can sometimes have a somewhat traumatic effect on them, which can raise trust issues and increased aggression. When this happens it just takes a lot of patience and spending time working with your bun so they learn they are alright and can trust you again.

Hopefully it's just the surge of hormones, but if not and the behavior continues, there are some things you can try to help. Squealing or a loud yelp, wear gloves, shooing bun to cage for a timeout. There are also these links, that might have some helpful info.
