baby lionhead won't eat alfalfa

Thankfully I only bought a bag and not a bale, Swiffer won't touch the alfalfa hay. I have some in a hanging ball, more in a rack, and a handful of generic hay on her floor.

She's eyes deep in the other stuff! Lol.

Eating alfalfa pellets is more important than alfalfa hay. But maybe buying some alfalfa hay elsewhere would be worth trying.

Her grain is the green bag of Purina. I know it has alfalfa in it, but I'm not sure if it's enough.

Look at the list of ingredients--if it's one of the first few then it has a goodly amount as it is listed by weight content.

what's the alfalfa like? mine hate certain cuts and/or will only eat the leaves from them

regardless, if the little one's getting a good alfalfa pellet then the alfalfa hay isn't mandatory as long as she's eating a good amount of grass hay.

Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal is the 1st ingredient.

I have LM ALFALFA HAY-KOB. Its pretty crumbly. But I give her the regular timothy in addition to the falfa. If the feed is fine, I'll just forget about the hay.
