Baby chicks!

I bought a bunch of chicks a few days ago! It has been years since I have had chickens- I really missed them. I am hoping that with 8 chicks I'll end up with at least 3 or 4 hens.

Nice you're raining them as pets. If I was doing that I could never eat one of their cousins. I rarely eat meat anyway.

looks like a cochin, they are one of my favorite breeds, my mom always called them "fluffy-butts"

Baby chicks are AWESOME! I love chickens. We had over 50 pet chickens when I lived in Puerto Rico.
