For the past 6 months, it has just been Peter, my boyfriend and I. Yesterday I decided to get one more addition and got a pet budgie. Peter is very very curious about him and vice versa however I think Peter is jealous over my attention. I still give him the same amount (if not more) attention than I always do, but he seems to be a little more destructive (just chewing on his toys more and chewing on newspapers and tearing things more than I have seen him do. I feel like he is also being more territorial and letting Picasso (my bird) know who's boss and who's room it is. He's really just chinning everything so no poops or urine on anything (amen to that!) but I can't help but feel very guilty.
Do you think Peter is jealous? How can I help his behavior?! oh and he is not yet neutered.
