I recently bought some apple tree twigs for theboys from farmer dave. William ignores them totally, but Charlie lovesthem a bit too much. I thought they were only supposed to chew them? Isit okay that Charlie is actually eating them? I know he's not justchewing them, soon after I give him one, it's completelydissapeared:? Is this okay? Do any other buns do that outthere? I would imagine it being okay since wild rabbits eat bark, buthe eats so much of it. I would think too much of anything would do somedamage. Any input?

Pebbles loves them!
She will peel off the bark and eat them, leaving the twigs behind.
You can see them in the picture.

There are some other twigs that I got from abreeder ( I don't know what they are )but Pebbles won't touch them. :dunno

Rainbows! :)

Fey and Sprite will eat them down to toothpicksize.:D It should be fine as long as he's not eating, say, abig branch in a day. I give them one small twig at a time.

Where could I possibly get some apple treetwigs? We have no tree's around my area to get them that way, is therepossibly someplace online that I can order them? Sounds like somethingmy boy would love.

A lot of online bunny supply stores have them.

I've ordered a book from here before, no problems with service.

One of my favorites, even though it's hard to skim/searchthrough. I steal toy ideas from this place and make them athome.

This site also has several other types of wood sticks and"coins." I plan on ordering some of the types I can't getlocally soon, just to try them.

Awesome, thanks for all the links. I found somethe twigs on one of the sites, and I shall be ordering them thisweekend. I also found a bunch of other stuff, butI might wantto narrow down my list before I order, or else I'll go broke, Lol.

thanks guys.. i've been giving them the reallyskinny ones and giving charlie one a day since he loves them so much.william's has been in his cage for days untouched. i thought that hewould only eat the bark and leave the twig also, but he actually leavesnothing.. which concerned me. i guess i'll continue to give him one aday, he seems to be acting normal.

edit: i:heart: pebbles!

Both Misty and Cookie eat a 3 footlong, approx. 1/2 inch diameter stick in about aweek. I was shocked the first day it dissapeared... but theyLOVE them. I've not had any problems so far with them eatingthe twigs.
