I'm in the northwest Chicago 'burbs and have been seeking a more affordable source of timothy hay. (Paying $65 for a 50-lb. bale of Oxbow every six weeks' time isn't ideal.)
I live somewhat close to some horse farms but haven't received an e-mail response from the few I've contacted regarding their hay source(s). I suppose I need to call them but thought I'd ask for RO members' opinions, if anyone happens to live in/near my area.
