Sarah, try putting your hand in there from the top of the cage, and bring it slowly down to her head. That's what's working for Rosa, so far. From what I've read, a lot of rabbits aren't fond to see a hand coming straight at them, because of their sucky close-range vision.

Sarah, it made a HUGE difference. I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to stick our hands straight in, but whatever works.

Glad to hear you have figured a way to work with your doe. I'll have to keep the gloves in mind and also regarding their sucky closeup eyesight if I should ever get an aggressive doe or buck.

Can't wait to see what she produces for you.
