a little math help please

I have a bit of an issue with math stuff....

Trying to plan some stuff...and this is what I have come up with so far...

Without getting lost at all...maybe about 130 miles..

2001 honda civic ex - says total to gallon - 29 miles...

Going like 70 miles an hour most of the way...

Somewhere around a 2 hour trip....

Gas is 2.59 a gallon right now..

It seems to take me about 30 bucks to fill my tank...

So would I be burning about a half of tank of gas?

assuming you have about an 11.5 gallon tank in your car (based on your estimate of how much gas costs and how much you usually spend) then you can go 335 miles without filling up. 335-130=about 205 gallons left in your tank. So you should burn just over half a tank (half would be 167ish)...does that help?

thats if your car still gets 29 miles to the gallon (car has to be in good shape) and depends on how much you stop and go...so its not exact

Well I SEEM to get about 250 to a tank...without issue...maybe a little more push come shove...but a half of tank is what I was thinking and that is what you are thinking...so I will run with that being rather on the money! Thank you for your help!
