a bunny rolling in a scent

Bentley was out and about and he had pooped on a dog bed I keep in the livingroom with toys. I picked up the poops then let Sophie boy out. He went over to that spot starting digging then rolled his cheek like a dog would roll in something nasty outside, then he did it again. I never saw a bunny roll in something and what does that mean if it's Bentley's scent.

It sounds like Sophie was trying to leave his own scent on the spot. Typical bunny behaviour.
