9 Puppies & 7 Kittens!

So in the mad dash to get the kennel out of the garage for my dog, we found a mommy and kittens! She wouldn't let me touch the kittens, but she let me take photos and definitely enjoyed her head rubs and the food I brought her. We also got baby buns this morning, but that's for another thread

Oh, I hope the cat's family is not worried! Have you called your local shelter, so they can let the family know if they call? Or put up flyers, maybe?

It our neighbors cat and he already knows He agrees to letting us spay mommy and adopt out the kittens to help pay for her surgery. This isn't her first litter but I think this is the first time she's had them in our shed.

We plan on getting the first shots of all the babies (puppies and kittens) and using the adoption fees to get both parents fixed when the babies are ready to go.

Cute babies! Those grey/white kittens are going too be pointed like siamese! I may be getting a kitten like them at the end of the month

I miss counted. There's only 5 kittens, but they are all very adorable!
There's 2 white/Siamese ones, 1 tabby, 1 grey tabby & 1 weird colored one that I dunno what you'd call him lol but my boyfriend has already decided we're keeping that one. It's like a tortieshell on the back, tabby legs, and orange tabby face! New pictures in a bit I caught them while momma was away so I got some good photos. And she let me hold them today. Now all their eyes are completely open and they are starting to play. It's so adorable! I forgot how fast kittens grow. And the puppies are starting to wrestle with each other lol I can't wait until they open their eyes and start wandering around!

What breed/mix are the puppies?

The kitten you are keeping, the colour is called 'Torbie' I think I have heard. Basically a term meaning mix of tabby and tortoiseshell. It is a really neat colour pattern! The dad of the babies must have had some Siamese or Himalayan in him!

Most of the puppies have their eyes open finally and are starting to wander from the kennel. The only problem is, is they can get out of the kennel, but can't stand on the linoleum bathroom floor so they wiggle around and whine until someone comes and gets them, and Hailey has figured out we will come get them, so she doesn't do it. I'll get some new photos up tonight
The puppies are Whippet/Silky Terrier mix. I'm calling the vet tomorrow to get prices for first shots, and get an appointment set up!
