    Bonnie is not acting normal

Well good news! My Wife just called and told me that Bonnie started running around so it seems she's okay now. It must have been gas? Or she was just being Lazy? The food we give her is this I confirmed with my wife and we indeed give her only 1/4 cup every morning then hay the rest...

    Bonnie is not acting normal

I just realized that 1 cup of pellets is a lot. The cup we're using is small and is really maybe around 1/4 to 1/3 cup. lol She eats the pellets only in the morning so it was the hay. Hay causes the gas problem? I'll tell my wife to get some for Bonnie then. Thanks for the responses...

    Bonnie is not acting normal

Hello everyone! Early this morning my wife called me at work and told me that Bonnie doesn't seem like her normal self. She wasn't as excited or active when it was feeding time. She noticed that Bonnie was just sitting there and seemed like she was trying her best to go potty. My wife said she...

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

This is becoming a journal of some sorts... lol The other day we caught Bonnie urinating on top of Pumpkin's cage. We really felt bad for Pumpkin because she's just being abused by Bonnie. I always thought that the spayed bunny would be calmer and less territorial then a bunny that's not...

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

Tonight seemed to be a little better. Bonnie was minding her own business eating hay while the young bunny was hopping and jumping around. There was a point where they lay next to each other then out of the blue Bonnie just started aggressively nibbling on Pumpkin. We're confused because...

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

So tonight my wife and I decided to try and see how Pumpkin and Bonnie would react to one another. We chose the garage this time because there's lots of things to distract them. We placed a box full of Hay and placed them on opposite sides. We are happy to say that both bunnies ignored each...

    What a Sweeeeet Rabbit

My wife and I have had rabbits before and this is the first time that a rabbit has been soo sweet. We picked up Pumpkin about a little over a week ago and at first she's been really shy and jumpy. Lately, she's slowly getting used to the noises at home and everyone else. Well, today as she was...

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

Thanks Flashy for your input. We decided to just possibly wait it out until Pumpkin is spayed which will be in 4 months. :) Thanks!

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

So after about a week we tried to introduce Bonnie and Pumpkin in our Master Bathroom which is the neutral location. So here's what happened. It seems the Pumpkins does not like it when Bonnie comes close to her. The whole time we had them in the bathroom, Bonnie would come up to Pumpkin who...

    Bonnie the Carnivor-in-training Rabbit ;)

About 3 weeks ago I was watching TV in the living room when I heard someone munching on food in the kitchen. I looked at my dog Sophie lying on the floor beside me and was puzzled on what was making that noise. So I rush over to the kitchen and lo and behold I see Bonnie my Dwarf Lop eating dog...

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

Thanks for your post. It's good to hear that I'm on the right track. I think that suggestion of giving them both a ride in the car is great! Eventually my main goal is to have them use the same cage. So it's a good idea to clean the cage with vinegar before having them use one cage huh...

Introducing a pair of spayed and non-spayed Does

Hello everyone! :) My wife and I just recently picked up a 9 week old Holland Lop (Pumpkin) and was wondering if it will be difficult introducing her to our 10 month old Dwarf Lop (Bonnie) that is already spayed. I've search everywhere online but nothing speaks of at least 1 rabbit being...
