My bun is able to jump up on my 33in tall bed, would a 42in tall pen be tall enough?

So true!! I would use the lid. I’m trying to figure out how to contain a Contie!

    Setting up for new rabbits

I’m looking forward to seeing what you create. Definitely agree that the baseboard should be covered. Especially if it’s a high profile.

    Train not to bite?

Hmmm... what an interesting conundrum. I’ve had and still have both spayed does and neutered bucks and I’d take a neutered buck any day. In my experience, the altering seems to affect them differently. Bucks are much simpler. Remove the hormones and they are simplified. The doe’s behavior is...

    Angora bunny care

That’s really funny!! 😂 I agree that they are totally fine. Wire has its uses. It just shouldn’t be the only surface they have and as long they aren’t stuck in there all the time they will be fine. My opinion of course, everything in moderation.

    Angora bunny care

You can always try felting the wool just to get used to working with it. Make a hat or mittens! Biggest issue here is that hay gets stuck in his fur around his bottom. Our two kittens are obsessed with playing with the hay and they go out of their way to spread it far and wide! I can’t even...

    Angora bunny care

Congratulations! Very cool. Angora rabbits are so sweet. Are you going to be saving the wool? It’s not hard to take care of their coat if you do it regularly. I use a set of combs, rounded tip scissors, a seam ripper, gimar clippers and a blower. I recommend working outside as the blower will...

    Black or chocolate himilayan?

I believe that is a chocolate bunny. Beautiful!

I've had my bunny for 3 years and he's still uncomfortable with me but I don't understand why?

What a beautiful funny bunny! It sounds like he’s got quite the territory! It seems to me that the dwarf rabbits I’ve had have not enjoyed being pet. They are quite social with us but not for petting. I can trim nails for them but they have to be caught to do it and they always get a treat...

Setting up for new continental giant

This makes sense. My guess is that he’ll be happier outside with the other bucks rather than inside the house. Definitely considering the barn aisle idea with outdoor runs. It will take a little work but no predators is a good thing! I appreciate your advice Blue eyes! Thank you!

Setting up for new continental giant

They are both bucks but they are not bonded. Their accommodations are separate but under the same roof. They are both rescued bunnies and neither of them liked being inside the house. I wanted them to be indoors but both are several years old and set in their ways. They are both happy with their...
