Will hay cause my washing machine a problem.

I have found that the washing machine won’t really get all of the hay off and what it does get off gets stuck in the filter and causes drainage issues with the machine. Like others have suggested, I brush fleece stuff first although I just use an old litter scoop or small handheld dustpan.

Allergic to hay, any way around this??

I’m not sure if this will help with severe allergies, but I use an air purifier right next to my rabbits’ space and that helps a lot with my mild allergies.

    Baby rabbit with excess cecotropes

Thanks guys! I was hesitant to stop the oats because I didn’t want too many changes at once, but I’ll cut those out and see if it improves.

    Baby rabbit with excess cecotropes

Hi everyone! I recently adopted two 9-week old rabbits and have noticed that both of them seem to have been producing excess cecotropes that are not being eaten. The lady I got them from told me to give them 1 teaspoon of oats along with pellets and hay daily until they reach 6 months then...

    Horrible pee smell!

I use a litter box with a pull out drawer and put a layer of pine wood litter on the bottom so it’s not in contact with my rabbit. This controls the smell better than anything else I’ve tried! Pine can be harmful to rabbits though, so I wouldn’t use it if your Litterbox set up has your rabbit in...

    Should I get another bunny?

I’d just get one for now, wait for until after she’s old enough to be spayed, then consider another. For bonding and during their puberty months you’ll want to house them separately to ensure they don’t fight and hurt each other. I love your outdoor setup! I agree I wouldn’t leave them out there...

merging my room with my bunnies seamlessly?

I had one rabbit that was absolutely obsessed with shredding and chewing foam mats 🥴 but my other 3 rabbits never bothered it. I would see how yours does with it first before buying something extra you might not need.

merging my room with my bunnies seamlessly?

Your setup is beautiful! I think sometimes all of the small pet stuff creates some visual clutter though so I can understand what you mean from a design perspective. If you’re taking away the xpen and wanting to spread their stuff throughout your room, maybe try creating a couple “rabbit zones”...
