All I know is that RSPCA is a registered charity & Queen Elizabeth is a patron. 🤷🏼‍♀️I just thought it was an interesting share.

Bonding 2 male rabbits? Is it doable?

I have 2 males that are bonded, one dwarf Hotot (a rescue, ~1 yr) and deaf one Holland Lop (16 months old). We had the lop - named Mochi- since 3 months, then when He was 8 months old, got the dwarf Hotot that was neutered by the rescue place. Mochi was neutered shortly after the dwarf came...

2 bonded males fighting & humping out of the blue

I read in an older post that bunnies could pull hair out when they played. Q: is pulling out clumps not unusual? Have they always played like this? I’m trying to research if this is normal behavior that we hadn’t seen until recently. Yesterday, I came home & my son showed me a video of them...

Put your funniest bunny pictures down below!

this is from last summer, after he got fixed. Mochi was a bit blissed out on his pain meds. He used his water bowl as a headrest. Mochi’s favorite position- flopped. He’s a professional napper compared to Popper. He’ll nap anywhere. Popper just chills.

Also, Popper ate just fine & I am gathering he drank water, but I rarely catch them actively drinking from their 3 water bowls & using the litter boxes. also, Popper raced around & thru their play tunnel, played ‘push the...

White heavy fluid in litter box overnight. Need help!

This morning, when cleaning up the bunny cages, I noticed that Popper the Dwarf Hotot had this white heavy fluid over his poops. Looks more recent than his overnight urine that is absorbed into the litter pellets. Other than 1) us giving the bunnies their nighttime greens in their cages (b/c...

    Vitamin D / UV Light / Sunlight

https://www.vetlexicon.com/treat/lapis/diseases/hypovitaminosis-d https://www.petful.com/pet-health/vitamin-d-deficiency-rabbits/ “…experts advise against dietary supplements of Vitamin D. This fat-soluble vitamin can easily build up in fat reserves, and too much of a good thing is just as bad...

    Bunny Brushing Problems/ Hello!

I have the same issue with my Holland lop- not being able to brush the belly or feet very much, because he’s skittish to be held. He’ll do pets & climb on a stationary person, but holding him is a nope. I asked the vet tech about grooming when I went to get my 1 of my bunnies nails clipped (1 of...

    Nail trimming advice needed

My dwarf Hotot hates getting picked up. At first sign of grabbing hands, he runs & hides; if my son catches him, he violently wiggles, scratches until he breaks free and runs away. He only permits petting and grooming when he’s safely on the ground or on our ‘grooming bed’ (cat bed we use for...

    grooming when molting

how to groom better, especially when molting? our frosty Holland Lop is molting for the first time. He’ll be a year old in a few days. We have the Hair buster comb & he gets daily grooming on all visible areas of fur when he’s just sitting there. We’ve not groomed his belly nor his other areas...

What wire is safe for bunnies?

I am repurposing a huge solid wood tv armoire into a multi-level bunny condo. I need to replace the inset wood panels of the solid wood doors w/ wire. I have a dwarf Hotot that’s a chewer & Lop that follows his lead when he thinks the chewing leads to FREEDOM!- though it doesn’t. They’re only...

Would it be detrimental if one of the bunnies is rehomed?

This sounds about right. Popper will chew on my slides I just wear when inside the bunny pen enclosure. what do you do (or have) to keep your dwarf bunny busy? I’ve already stacked 5 sheets of cardboard to prevent digging destruction to my carpet.

Would it be detrimental if one of the bunnies is rehomed?

😳 the bunnies are like little dogs begging for their food! Because they don’t know why they’re suddenly limited on their pellets, we’ve resorted to giving them the little they’re getting after we put them to bed in their respective cages. Every morning, the bunnies are clamoring to their empty...
