    Started pooping on couch

Yes, he’s most likely marking/claiming it as his because it’s a new area to him. All of my rabbits did that and spaying/neutering stopped it. After spaying/neutering them it only happened again while trying to bond or if I accidentally leave another rabbits toy out.

How can I prevent yellow bunny feet?

I had the same issue. My rabbit always had the whitest feet (even the vet commented on how white they were) until I bonded him with a rabbit that’s is a lot more messy than him. She would throw hay everywhere and it would stain his feet. I use Exquisite cat paper litter from Petsmart. I also...

Quality of life for hind leg amputation?

Im so sorry you’re going through that. I have a rescue that only has one working back foot and does perfectly fine getting around (even does little kicks). She does struggle a little balancing to bathe herself so something else to think about and that’s with the non working one to help balance...

    Considering a third bunny...

Yes, it definitely depends on the personalities of them. I have a bonded pair and tried to introduce a third (female) and it made the male pick fights with the female he was bonded with. I was prepared for that and had room for another enclosure though. Have you checked for a shelter/rescue in...

    Treats for training

You could try orchard hay. My rabbits go crazy for it like it’s a treat.

    Spaying recovery

I had two of my females spayed at the same time and they recovered very differently. I was very worried about the 4 year old because she was older and was bred over and over then they were done with her and that’s when I got her but she ended up recovering faster than the 6 month old. She was...

    bunny biting bars of cage

Mine know their free roam schedule too. My lop only bites the bars when it’s around the time to let her out.

    Housing for a 2nd rabbit

Another thing you can do which I forgot to mention that was recommended to me that worked is give them each a small blanket and then switch them so they can get each other’s scent that way first. They will take out their initial aggression in the blankets if any.

    Housing for a 2nd rabbit

Our holland lop Harley (I call her Cujo) became very aggressive once puberty hit and spaying her didn’t help that. She is our only rabbit that when we take to her to the vet we can’t pick her up to put in her carrier, we have to coax her in or she will bite. My husband started giving her those...

    Housing for a 2nd rabbit

What worked for me was putting their enclosures a few inches apart from each other for a couple months (I wasn’t in a hurry to bond them) so they could get use to each other’s scents. A little aggressiveness and a lot of poop marking from the one I already had at first then when the...
