Bunny doing weird things to his private

Hello. He could be cleaning his area, maybe he gets urine on his fur? You can just check after he uses litter box if he gets urine on his fur there. It could also just be general grooming as well. Are you sure he's all right otherwise? I think rabbits lick a specific area when that area is...

    Firework anxiety

You could try keeping lavender in the room. Its very soothing for the bunny. Not for eating, but for comfort. Try to set up a corner of the room thats comfortable, and just sit next to him, and pet him the entire time. I dont recommend playing music loud enough to drown out the fireworks, thats...

My Bunny has a badly broken nail

I may be wrong but that looks like it could get infected. If possible, try to get it checked by a vet. If you say she's badly hurt it could also be sore. Hope she's okay ❤️

get partner for my rabbit questions

Hi! I have a single female rabbit. She is 3.5 years, spayed, incredibly active. She plays in the house and an enclosed area outside, she relaxes on her own while I work from home and she also plays with me. But I think thats because it's her personality. She had a female partner (Ghost sadly...

Bunny absolutely hates being picked up, solution?

How long ago was he neutered? Did they not shave the area? Or did the fur grow back? If the fur grew back, it means it's been some time, his stitches are likely closed off and healed already.

Bunny absolutely hates being picked up, solution?

My rabbit hates it too. It's just innate. I don't recommend picking them up off the ground completely. Regarding the stitches, would you consider a tiny mirror? This way you can place it at an angle and check the stitches. If you don't see anything untoward (he's not licking/scratching etc)...

Bunny passed away suddenly last night

Sorry. At least she passed away in your arms, knowing she was loved and cherished.

Any tips for a very active and easily bored rabbit?

Have you tried keeping a tv or radio on? Maybe cartoons or something where there's constant movement and sound, for entertainment. YouTube has some great nature videos (none with predators! But try with birds and other rabbits). I don't mean for several hours, just one hour or so to keep his...

Owner of 2 mini rabbits in need of Help!

Hope someone adopted that adorable white rabbit. I've had two of those as pets, they are extremely playful, sweet and calm. I believe those are New Zealands.

If you want to interact with them, get down to their level on the floor. Right now, to them, you're a giant walking about. Pet them. Show them they're safe with you by giving a few treats here and there, rub their forehead area. No sudden movements, no carrying etc.

You don't pick up a rabbit, most don't like this. Only some rabbits are comfortable with this, and it takes time to build that sort of trust. Also, they just had operations and they are still healing. Moving them and handling them is a bad idea. Leave them be.

This is a significant improvement. Thrilled to see they are fine after the operations. I was also going to suggest you move the tunnel so the rabbit can run through. I see you're likely using it as a hidey area now, maybe when you have them in a single enclosure you can do this.

Great that they are eating and using their litter box. Keep an eye on them to make sure they're not in pain. Remove any high objects, they shouldn't be tempted to jump or climb during this time. Ensure that none of them lick or pick at the stitches. Good luck!

How are they doing after the vet visits? Please keep an eye on them to make sure that they eat, drink and use the litter box within 8-12 hours. Look for signs of discomfort etc. It's likely she wasn't pregnant, the vet would have mentioned it following the spay operation. Mounting is normal...

Actually this might be advantageous. Once they are neutered and spayed, bonding will be alot easier.

    Leaving for a week!

This seems kind of silly to state, but please write down that she must ensure bunny is safe and secured before she leaves, i.e. he cannot escape from his designated area. Sometimes it might seem like an obvious fact, but it's often overlooked.

We understand it can be a bit difficult and frustrating when all you want to do is love on them.. But please dont chase or throw your rabbits. If you are stressed from work, take ten minutes out for yourself to relax, and then approach them. After neutering, bonding males together will also...
