found an abandoned lop ear rabbit- what breed is he please?

it was 3 days ago- i'm not sure how long he was in there. it wasn't that long. getting her spayed would cost about $400 around where i live- crazy. won't her behavior change at all? right now she acts pretty normal. she seems annoyed with him. when he stands up to look at her in the hutch she...

found an abandoned lop ear rabbit- what breed is he please?

ugh not good to hear! she is about 3-4 years old and she's almost twice his size, i'd say. i can afford to care for the babies but i wouldn't be happy about having to find homes for them when there are already rabbits out there that need homes. i just never thought the boy could jump that high...

thanks for the replies! he may be underweight, or maybe not full grown. he probably has been living off just grass for months, and he acts like a young rabbit. i named him Monster. He snuck out of my bedroom and jumped in the high hutch with my girl rabbit. uh oh. i hope she's not in heat b/c...

found an abandoned lop ear rabbit- what breed is he please?

Hi! Oddly enough the only rabbit owner in the apartment complex (Me!) pulls up to go home and sees a white/spotted lop ear rabbit calmly eating grass under a bush. Being a friendly thing i was able to pick him up and put him my spare cage. He's the most darling boy- so sweet and outgoing! I'm...

    poo question (yay!)

oh sorry read it again and i neglected to answer a few questions... well the main pellet food, which is the majority of her food, is mostlymade of timothy hay, and it's plain, so i think that should be fine. I'll stop giving her a handful a day of that mixture stuff, i had noidea it wasn't...

    poo question (yay!)

thanks! i had no idea i was giving her too many treats. ok so i will majorly cut down on the treats and the carrot. (i gave her so much b/c she is so large) i give her a lot of hay and she does eat it all, but you are right, i think i do need to give her more greens. thanks!

    poo question (yay!)

I have a question pretty much related to diet... I have a big bunny (standard chinchilla?) and so, she poos alot. Now the thing is, a lot of the poos are connected with astrand of fur, and they hang off the wire on the bottom of the cage andi'm always having to get rid of them. As much as I...

i don't know how much she weighs...but she isthe size of a full grown cat so I don't think she can be partchinchilla...she has very soft fur with a kind ofwhite'downy' fur near her neck, and a white tummy. dunno ifthis helps...will post better pix soon.

first time bunny owner- some ? about my adopted bunny

oh that's a good idea for a ramp! now i have some questions about litterbox training: She has a hutch with a wire floor, and the poo and whatever goesthrough to be soaked into the bedding in a removable traybeneath. I would like her to use a litterbox, I think itwould be an easier clean up...
