    Boy or Girl?

Yes, the girls have no penises. They are together and get along amazingly. No biting, no trying to hump the other, just lots of licking and grooming. They're good sisters and they love each other and would probably cry[or do the rabbit version of crying] if I tried to separate them. The boy and...

Can you guess my New Zealand rabbits age?

A vet who knows rabbits will be able to give you a better idea than we can. Make sure it IS a vet who knows rabbits, because the vet I took my Benny to when I thought he had necrosis[Loooong story short: The humane society didn't take care of him at all, when we got him, he had a lump on his...

    Boy or Girl?

I have four baby rabbits, born just over 6 months ago. Two I know for sure are girls and one is for sure a boy. The fourth, Pink, I'd thought was a boy, but he's always been so much smaller than the one I know for sure is a boy, he's about the size of the two girls. He won't let me flip him...

Poopy butt and I don't want to hurt him, but he'll need daily baths and....Help?

So after tweaking diets and everything, Brady is eating the pellet most days. Like, maybe one in three days, he doesn't eat it and I have babywipe his butt off. We're getting there, its better though.

    Deaf rabbit?

So I've been suspecting Brady is deaf for a while. I know completely white cats often are deaf, does it apply to white rabbits as well? I mean, he might just be a REALLY heavy sleeper, but I doubt that. I can reach into his cage[which isn't quiet when it opens] without him waking. For example...

No problem, just want to share because I find it cute

I have an unneutered boy, Brady, who is the sweetest little thing ever. Every time I touch him, or even stick my fingers through the cage, he chins my fingers. For those of you with unneutered buns, am I the only one who finds this incredibly cute and sweet? Its like he's saying "You're my...

Baldness in 5 month old bunny???

No, neither one is spayed yet, but Dora has never been aggressive towards her. I think Dora is just grooming her too much. I did check their area and there is NO fur at all laying around or anything, making me think its just Dora grooming her too much.

How many days in a row can u use same buck

Do NOT breed unless you already have good homes for the babies or KNOW FOR A FACT you're keeping them. I got my female already pregnant[we weren't aware of this when we got her] and I kept all four babies, along with both parents. Four does times...lets say at least 3 babies each, is 12 babies...

Baldness in 5 month old bunny???

So I have my two girl rabbits, who are sisters, they share a cage and play area. The one in question, Spaz, has lionhead fur, but they are all lop/lionhead mixes. Today I went to change their water and noticed Spaz has some fur missing off her forehead. I DO know her sister DOES lick her a lot...

'Play date' for Bunnies, a thing or not?

Why can't she get another bun? I mean, two are really no more work than one....OR see if she can't get a small cat or something for the Bun to play with, one of my boy buns is friends with one of my kitties and I trust them enough to leave them semi-supervised. By semi-supervised I mean, I shut...

Not sure if I can convince mom...Help please!

I personally second ^that. There's so many rabbits in need, don't bring any more into the world if you don't need to. Anyways, I know you probably aren't going to lose interest but IF you do, who has to take care of the rabbits and kits? Your parents. Not you. It'll be your parents cleaning...

Is it okay to keep Simba the bathroom...

I was scared Benny would jump in the tub, and catch the drain and break his foot, I put a frikking comforter over the drain so there was no way he could pull it away from the drain lol.

Is it okay to keep Simba the bathroom...

Also in the tub, make sure the drain is shut, covered, or has a towel over it so Simba's feet don't get caught in it.

Can 2 unspayed female live happily together?

Well, I have two unsprayed girls and they're best of friends and they have the same cage and play area. Spaz tries to act tough, but if she's scared, she hides behind Dora who is the protector, but then again, they're sisters and have been together since they were born, so that might have...

    Rabbits wont exercise

Invest in a harness and leash and take them on walks...er, hops? That's what I do with Benny. He loves going outside, but because of where I am, I get coyotes and I don't want him outside alone, so I put him on a leash and attach it to a ground stake and let him hop around while I lay outside...

Poopy butt and I don't want to hurt him, but he'll need daily baths and....Help?

He's not fat, he's a healthy weight, he's eating...well, IDK his normal eating habits but far better than my other male when I first brought him home. Thumper barely ate for 3 days when I first brought him home, Brady is eating more. And given the consistency that is the stuff getting stuck to...

    Honking!!!

Brady grunts when he cleans his fur, its adorable. I recently also switched the material he had for his bedding and he loves it, when I got to add more, he grunts and binkys and then tries to burrow into the bedding.

Poopy butt and I don't want to hurt him, but he'll need daily baths and....Help?

I spoke with Brady's original owner and he's been primarily on pellets, hay was given occasionally, I've since switched that. He seems to pass the cecum pellet an hour or so before now, and I've been checking his butt and using baby wipes to remove it, I removed the last ones about an hour ago...

Poopy butt and I don't want to hurt him, but he'll need daily baths and....Help?

Okay, that makes a lot more sense. All of my bunnies except Brady don't have poop/not poop issues, they're fine. Brady IS pooping out little hard pellets, he's got a pile in a corner, what he pooped out was super mushy, stinky and he didn't poop where he normally poops. He didn't eat it. He is...

Poopy butt and I don't want to hurt him, but he'll need daily baths and....Help?

He just pooped again, and it was not round or firm. It was mushy, like soft baby-who-is-no-longer-on-formula poop. I actually had to wipe his butt like you'd do a baby's and he pooped on his wooden house, so I had to scrub that. He DID just move homes, though, and I've adjusted his diet...
