    LIVE Hatch Cam ^_^

Thanks :). Olive is teasing me. She's READY to hatch, but the first ones ALWAYS take their sweet time. Little brat.... <3

    LIVE Hatch Cam ^_^

This isn't bunny related, but I do a live hatch cam for those who want to watch chicks hatch! Right now I have two that have pipped (made their air hole in the shell) and are peeping away so they could hatch any moment. There are 8 due today/tomorrow and 5 due in 2 days . Feel free to stop by...

    For the Love of Curls

I know right?! She used to be tiny and follow him around everywhere. Now she's twice his weight and pushes him around (when there's food involved). I love watching those old videos of them <3

    For the Love of Curls

Tried to make those smaller, whoops :/

    For the Love of Curls

She did indeed lose her curl, but her coat is still strange. She has kinky whiskers and the guard hairs above her plush coat are kinky too. She also gets a wavy when her face molts and her coat gets wet with water, but that might be a rex thing. She's definitely half rex and half lionhead, she...

    For the Love of Curls

Today is Ariadne's FIRST birthday! Hooray! In 5 days I'll have had her and Theodore for one whole year. It has been such a privilege watching this little girl blossom. I started fostering her mother and siblings when she was only 5 days old, and officially adopted her at 6 weeks old. She has...

    Weirdest crisis-raisin stuck to fur

You're going to have to hold her still and either use a warm towel and lots of warm water to work it out, or just cut it out.

    Show off your bunny's home!

And for when I'm gone, they get an xpen run attached for running around

    Leaving for 48 hours...

Nope, I decided against it. And the veggies were probably finished within the evening since Theodore is a pig, haha.

    Leaving for 48 hours...

I just wanted to update that they SURVIVED! They made it 52 hours without any supervision. Their water was close to empty (I brought they're huge water bottle home for next time) and they made a HUGE mess, but that was expected since I left a big bowl of hay fines for them to rummage...

    rabbit wont eat hay

My rabbit was the same until I changed the hay rack I was using and made one myself. My bun likes to pull out all of the hay in the rack, eating the "best" pieces, and I shove it all back in every morning until it's almost gone.

Getting concerned that they won't work out...

Crush needs to be able to tell Callie when enough is enough, otherwise she's not going to know her boundaries. If you take him away without him asserting himself you're pretty much setting him up to be completely controlled by her. She's young and obnoxious right now, and he's mature and chilled...

    Leaving for 48 hours...

Well it's too late now, haha. I gave them pellets to last them several days, enough hay for a week, and a couple days worth of veggies. I'm sure they'll eat a lot of the pellets by tomorrow, if not all of them. If they do manage to eat all of their pellets and all of the veggies, then they'll be...

    Leaving for 48 hours...

That's what I was thinking. Not only is it super obnoxious breaking down the cage and setting up their xpen cage at my parents' house, but they spend 1.5 hours each way in the car, a couple hours in their little travel cage once we get there because I don't feel like setting it up right away...

    Leaving for 48 hours...

Haha, I'm not going to pay to have someone come in and throw food in their cage. I'd rather just pack them up and take them with me. My question is can they be left unsupervised for 48 hours? Without having someone come in and care for them. If not, I'll just keep taking them with me even...

    Leaving for 48 hours...

I have nobody here to check in on them, unfortunately :/. My housemate is on vacation and I don't know anyone in the area on a personal basis. They would get fed on Sunday evening, so there are really only the two meals on Saturday that would be questionable if he ended up eating all of his...

    Leaving for 48 hours...

I go home to my parents' house every weekend and packing/unpacking the rabbits to go and come back is getting very tiresome. I was wondering if leaving them at my apartment would be feasible? Two of them share a cage, but I think I'd divide the cage in half so that they each get their own...

    Help! escape artist strikes again!

I doubt she's squeezing through, even though I chased a hare and it escaped through one of the squares in our chainlink fence...but if that were the case the cage pen would be pushed in one direction where she attempted to squeeze through. My guess is the blue box and hopping over. Rabbits...

    My NIC building/tweaking adventure!

I used coroplast for the base of Theo's original cage and now in the cage at my parents' house and there's no way I'm putting that in there! WAY too noisy as they run around and just hop around on it. My housemate used to be able to hear him hopping around on it at night and she lived in the...

    My NIC building/tweaking adventure!

Yeah I think one of the reasons it's been such an experience is because Ariadne is still pretty young (she's 6 months old now) and still likes to chew a lot. That and because she's young she gets more food than Theo does, so I have to keep him out of her food which is tricky when they live...
