What amount of greens do you feed to your small rabbits?

MiniLopHop wrote: You can feed bunnies water from a dish? I always thought there was a chance of drowning, due to their noses being so close.

    new furball i mean bunny

He's quite cute! I have a lionhead myself - acts like a lion too, haha. Their hair is quite a handful, so be sure to keep it tangle free and clean!

Licking and tugging at clothing while being held

LaylaLop wrote: Hmm... this could be a similar to what Hamilton is doing. He does the same thing to me, but only with a particular pair of jeans... it's rather peculiar. Do you cover her eyes too? I've always just put my hand on top of his head, but that seems to only aggravate him more. =[

    nose bumping

Hamilton bumps my hand when he wants petting, for me to get out of the way or if he wants food.

    My homemade hutch (pic heavy)

wow. that is incredible! I like the wood. It's definitely a different "feel" than the sterile metal cages.

Multi-Level Cages, are they OK without ramps?

Whew, it's been a busy two weeks! Thanks for all the replies guys. I realized that my bunny was still growing, and has reached a size in which he actually will not fit on the ramps anymore. (he actually broke one, while sitting on it... fat bunny, haha.) I actually have it set-up like the...

Multi-Level Cages, are they OK without ramps?

Hey all, I just bought a cage off of craigslist that has three levels (woo for an awesome deal!), that is something like this: The ramps are missing, so he jumps from level to level. I currently only have two of the bottom levels set up, and the third platform is on the second level...

    how to stop nipping.... ?

Ah, it is definitely the former. What is the bunny roll?

    eating fecals

A friend of mine that owns Hamilton's mother told me that it's actually normal. Some of their feces (the soft/ wet ones) still have nutritional value, so they eat them and reprocess the nutrients. If I recall correctly, dogs and elephants sometimes do the same.

    I started a cooking blog!

I'm loving the analysis on hot chocolate! It's just starting to get cold around here, so I'll have to give that recipe a go! :D

    how to stop nipping.... ?

I have a similar problem! Hamilton has learned to nudge (he actually started nudging instead of nipping), but he nips after licking me. I'm not exactly sure what to think of it. Maybe he thinks i'm tasty? rue - good idea on the gloves! I never thought about that. I'll have to do that when...

    Hey everyone!

Thanks Dave! :D It's amazing how fast these little bunnies grow (and go)! I've been taking my time, and taking all the advice that I can get. I'm currently trying to train him to use the litter box correctly, and it's proving to be a challenge!

Should I scruff Hamilton when trying to cut his nails? How do you hold your bunny when cutting their nails? (bunnicula II, haha great name!)
