So I'm looking for some advice about the risks of spaying and anesthetic on an older bun.
I have a female bun named Ginger who is around 7 years of age (she was a rescue so can't be too specific) but we've owned her for about 5 years. She has been bonded with a male, neutured rabbit since...
Hey, wondering if anybody has any suggestions about a bit of bonded pair trouble.
Blue (12 years old neutered male) and Ginger (6 years old unneutered female) have been happily bonded and living together for about 3 years now. However, lately i've noticed Ginger is mounting Blue and he's just...
Rhea is a beautiful German Lop, 2 years of age. She's best buddies with Charlie and loves nothing more than getting cuddles, racing around the garden and digging. I've owned her since 2011.
Charlie is the baby of the rabbit family, and he is a little rascal. I've owned him since the summer of 2011 when he was found running about lost at 3 months old and nobody claimed him. He's a fan of digging and is an expert in the art of destruction!
Ginger is a lop of around 6 years, and is the other half of her partner in crime Blue! She's a lovely girl, even though she can be bossy at times. I've had her for 4 years as her old owner couldn't take care of her anymore.
Blue is a old guy, now 12 years of age, though you wouldn't have thought it he's so full of energy! He's a rescue bun who ended up at the SSPCA at around 6 months of age and i've had him ever since.
Hey, looking for some advice.
My female rabbit Rhea was neutured last Tuesday. Everything went well and she was kept inside for a few days until her eating and behaviour was back to normal. However, 2 days ago i noticed she had stopped eating and was having terrible diarrhoea. Thankfully...
Hi, wasn't too sure where to post this but decided this forum was my best shot!
For a few years i've noticed the odd mouse or two in my rabbits runs but lately i've been having concerns that they can spread viruses etc to my rabbits as they're pooping/peeing in my rabbits food bowls as...
Fluffy ~ 2004 - 2011
Sadly my beautiful girl passed away after a month of illness. She seemed on the road to recovery however the past few days she had gone off her food and water...and it seemed like she was very out of breath. This morning I arranged a Vets appointment for the afternoon...
Noticed my girl was limping and hopping around on three legs last night. She had a visit to the Vets today and the vet checked her out but it didn't look like she was in any pain when pressure was applied to her sore foot, and there was nothing stuck between her paws. I've been prescribed with...
Hey guys, I want to introduce you all to my wonderful new bunny Charlie.
He's an adorable 4 month old who I rehomed a few days ago and boy has he made himself at home already - he's a typical cheeky boy (he has his nose into everything he can find...making a mess of everything lol) Sadly he...
Hey, i'm just curious to know if anybody has an idea of what breeding my rescue rabbit could have ? As you can see from the pics she's a pretty huge rabbit lol!
Thanks
Hello, lately my rabbit has been having sort of spasms (they seem to be completely out of the blue but mainly after I have given her a pat - although I have also spotted her doing it once whilst eating her food.) She sort of tilts her head to the side and claws at the floor with her nails and...
It's still heartbreaking to think that my best friend is gone, and it still brings tears to my eyes.
Rudolph arrived Christmas '01 and was the loviest rabbit anybody could have hoped for. He became my best friend within days and we held a strong bond through his many years.
He was a bossy...
Hey everyone.
I'm Tasha and I have three rabbits at the moment.
Blue - this little guy's about 9 now and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with his partner Ginger. Gets a little grumpy when it comes to food! Rescued him from the SSPCA when he was about 1 or 2.
Ginger - is Blue's friend and is...
