Thank you for your reply Azerane. I did have the feeling 7 was just a little too old. I think I'd be too worried to go through with it, especially as another female we had spayed had some complications after her op.. it has made me a little paranoid! And no Ginger has never been under anesthetic...

Rhea is a beautiful German Lop, 2 years of age. She's best buddies with Charlie and loves nothing more than getting cuddles, racing around the garden and digging. I've owned her since 2011.

Charlie is the baby of the rabbit family, and he is a little rascal. I've owned him since the summer of 2011 when he was found running about lost at 3 months old and nobody claimed him. He's a fan of digging and is an expert in the art of destruction!

Ginger is a lop of around 6 years, and is the other half of her partner in crime Blue! She's a lovely girl, even though she can be bossy at times. I've had her for 4 years as her old owner couldn't take care of her anymore.

Blue is a old guy, now 12 years of age, though you wouldn't have thought it he's so full of energy! He's a rescue bun who ended up at the SSPCA at around 6 months of age and i've had him ever since.

tamsin, yes it is definitely diarrhoea - very watery. However today it seems mushy but not as watery as it was a few days ago at all. Angie,i'm not sure if she was given a propbiotic, was that something the vet would give? She got another injection aside from the antibiotics on the first day...

Thanks Angie, vet had a look at the wound and all looks well,not infected. I'm taking her back in tomorrow morning and will mention biosponge. Poor girl :(
