The following varities are accepted by ARBA for Mini-Rex:

Black - Blue - Broken Group, Caster - Chinchilla - Chocolate

Himalayan -Lilac -Lynx - Opal- Red - Seal - Tortoise- White

There are a few varities for Mini Rexin the process of beingrecognizedby ARBA
Blue Eye White Mini Rex have passed their 3rd showing whichmeans they become fully recognized as a variety and can compete for allbreed awards starting February 1, 2005.

Otter Mini-Rex has passed their second showing for ARBA.

Sable Point Mini Rex has passed their first showing to ARBA.

It is hard to keep up-to-date on the status ofall the varieties. I try to keepup ontheones that are close to being accepted, but even that can becomeoverwhelming.

The Otter Mini Rex have been approved for their second showing and onlyneed one more successful showing to be an acceptedvariety. The sable point Mini Rex was approved forits first showing -- I love both those varieties, especially the sablepoint Mini Rex. The Blue Eyed White was successful on their3rd showing recently, and are now a new accepted variety for the MiniRex.
