I bought Dortmund a jaunty hat and bow tie off Etsy and tried to put it on him just a second ago. As soon as he saw it he ran under the bed and began thumping like he's never thumped before.

Haha, let him munch on something good while you put it on. It’s like harness training .
A lot easier if he used to be handled and have a harness on.
Odin do the same thing but when he sees water, he will thump like hell behind the aquarium ^^
