Recently her greens were recalled so I’ve been feeding her pellets (like her shelter used too)
I’m very concerned about GI stasis, she’s been acting normal except a couple minutes ago her stomach starting making noises, I gave her some more hay and been keeping a close eye on her. Do you think she’s okay? I’m really concerned. What do I do if she does have GI Stasis?
Please help I’ve only had her for a year

Well,,,,
I gave her some anti-gas stuff every hour for 3 hours and she’s doing much better. She continued to eat normally and poop normally. I now believe it was just bad gas. Thanks for helping :)

your bun's belly was just upset from the sudden transition. as it has solved, like it seems, there's nothing to worry about. just make sure that when you reintroduce her to vegs, that you do it slowly in order to avoid another gassy stomach situation.

Thanks! We found some greens at a store that didn’t get recalled and I’ve feed her a small amount this morning and she’s been running around and playing.

I have anti-gas drops just in case but have never needed them. Was it difficult to get her to take it? I had a nightmare situation a long time ago with trying to give my Aussie dog Pepto Bismal. What a disaster!!! I was envisioning various anti-gas drops incidents that could happen...but nothing could top the Pepto Bismal Incident of 1997.

It was surprisingly very easy. It must’ve smelled like a fruit or something she liked because she just gobbled it up. I don’t think it would be that bad.

My bun also pleasedly takes the gas drops if i liquify the solution or syringe feed him that. He will lick it. If not, i will kust lift his lip and put it in the corner of his mouth. To him, it's no problem.
