Advice for rabbit in dorm room

Next fall I will be starting college and I will (hopefully) have my rabbit there as an ESA (Emotional Support Animal). I have questions on how to keep hay. I don't think I will have enough room for a whole bale but I don't want to buy the small bags as the cost of those adds up quickly. If I could get some that could fit into a storage tub that would be great but I don't know what to look for, for that. I already know to use the horse pellets for litter and she has a large litterbox and already knows how to use it. I will be feeding Oxbow pellets, but will greens keep in a mini-fridge? Any other advice? Also, what Oxbow food will be best for a 5 year old rabbit

You know that I'm not in college but I do have to keep all of my rabbit supplies in my room.

I get the compressed bales of timothy hay from chewy and that bale comes in a box that I keep the bale in. I don't remember how big the box is but I'll get a picture later. The boxes can also be used as hides and can be reused. I stack another box on top of that along with stuff I don't want the bunnies getting into usually so I fill a smaller tote with hay that I can easily access. I have to refill that small tote every 2-3 days but I also have 3 bunnies. I also keep my greens in a mini-fridge and I find that they don't stay fresh as long as in a normal fridge but if you can get to the store every 4-6 days or so, you'll be good. I can keep 4-5 days of veggies for my two, along with a bag of frozen pineapple, bell peppers, and water in my fridge. I'll get pictures of my hay/litter/food/other supply storage later. Oh, and, my bunnies and I love the oxbow adult rabbit pellets (also from chewy).

I don't know how cold it gets in Kentucky, or if you have a car, but in the winter I keep hay in the trunk of my car. It would spoil if the weather were hot, but it works in the winter. If you have access to ice, you can get a small cooler for your greens.

I don't have a car yet but I will by the time I leave to go. It gets cold in Kentucky in the winter but during the summer it gets very hot and summer heat lasts sometimes into September-October.I'm not sure if I will have access or not without buying bags of it all the time.

You could get a bale of compressed hay and put it into a tin trash can or a covered bucket! I believe that greens will keep fine inside of a mini fridge! I use Purina Complete Rabbit Feed because it’s for all ages and is purely tonight and alfalfa hay. It’s a great feed. It does a lot for their muscle and bone health which is great if your rabbit can’t get much exercise. I highly recommend that feed. My rabbits love it too!
