Two baby mini rexs wondering having questions about bonding

Hey I have two mini rexes from the Same litter and i don’t know if i. Could let them play together before they both become able to reproduce they are both about 4 to 6 weeks one male and the other female what my family and and I want to do is let them meet each other because at my local pet store they use this spray that we bought for when they sell the rabbits before sexual maturity begins before 10 weeks so they can get along and smell the same the stayed together in the petstore just a couple days ago and along with a bunch of other bunnies some where other breeds as well in a 4ft by 4ft area and I just want to know if I can keep them deprecate but when I let them out only before the become age of sexual activities to occur just to introduce them while in a superset pen not conected to either of their pens

I wouldn’t let them be together are you 100% sure they are 6 weeks old and not older, around 9 weeks you will need to separate them. To not get a surprise litter later. Also you can’t be 100% sure they will bond later after being neutered and spayed.

Well, if you were sure about the age I would keep them together until max. 10 weeks, imho they learn some basic social skills. But not knowing their real age that might not be possible.

Here, I would have him neutered at 10-12 weeks, but where you live vets may not neuter at that age (at least that is never talked about on english boards?) , so you'll have to keep them separated until he's old enough, and then 4-6 weeks more before you can try to bond them.

Getting her spayed too might be a good idea, in my experience intact girls can make complicated pets at times, with all that hormone driven behaviour (there are huge differences in character though).

I'd eliminate the guesswork and separate them NOW! you can keep them in hutches near each other, but not too near til neuter/spay.
