Hi, my little Odin, have stopped being a cuddly sweetheart with me.

Before he would always break into the living room to snuggle up in my arms, run to the door every time I got home and fall asleep next to me.

All those things have stopped, he will run to door when my parents get home but will sleep like a log when it’s me. He no longer snuggle up in your arms, he’s busy trying to get treats.

Even at the vet, he will jump up into the veterinarian arms to avoid having to stand on the table and snuggle up in their arms, while I can just look at him winning other peoples hearts.

Only time he comes to me it’s when he finds people are annoying and want to avoid them. I still get a lot of kisses from him, but literally everything I get.

I’m starting to wonder where the bunny that would always sleep next to me or snuggling up in my arms.

At least he’s still super easy for me to pick him up and will always give a kiss on my nose when I do it.

But what can I do to win a bit favor from him again. Because I miss my couch potato and also all the time he disturbed my studying.

So need a bit help on how to win his attention over my family, he have managed to butter up to my parents and win their affections.

He will butter up to everyone that comes to the house and if anyone dares to ignore him, he will jump up into their knees acting all cuddly and spoiled.

So bomber me with ideas how to win his attention again.

Has he gone from youth to adulthood during this time?

He may also believes he owns you and you're always there for him, so he seeks additional attention from others.

He no longer snuggle up in your arms, he’s busy trying to get treats.

Hmm... my buck has never once snuggled up in my arms, but he'll climb me like a mountain if I have a treat. Maybe your little guy grew out of his snuggling phase?

Such sweet pictures. Just like humans, rabbits grow up and change. His personality is going to change as he gains more life experience and wisdom. Accept it. Sounds like he just wants to be more independent. As babies, they definately love to snuggle and do 'flops' on or near us. Perhaps examine how you're petting him. Rabbits respond to very soft, gentle petting. If you're a 'rough' petter, it can make him shy away. Also, if he wants to get down out of your arms yet you force him to stay, that can make him feel insecure around you. And definately don't chase him or tease him. Let him be his own bunny. Let him grow up, explore, and mature. Also, all rabbits are lil' beggers. (lol) If he's running after other family members for treats, don't take it personally. You're still his favorite Mama so no worries. He still loves you.

He will turn 2 years old, and I never force him when I pick him up. He will often stand on his back legs and make it easier for me to pick him up.

When I put him down, he will come back and stand on his back leg asking to be picked up again if he haven’t got enough petting.

Most people mistake him as a kit, so he’s already fully grown up.

I was just used with him snuggling up to me everyday, it’s true their more people to run around after moving back home to my parents.

He have become my dads personal shadow, what ever my dads doing, he will have a small bunny right behind him.

I can just snuggle up with my other two bunnies instead and have them as my couch potatoes while watching movies or reading a book.

Food have always been his biggest weakness, he goes a kitchen round 4 times everyday, sniffing every corner and patrolling the floor after dropped food crumbles.

I'm having the same problem with my sweet girl Bambi : ( I hope it's just a temporary thing and she's in season to be bred and feisty about it, but I've been giving her treats (hay) every time I walk past and petting her while she eats it so she can associate me with things she likes again. She was never super cuddly like her mother is, so I don't want to turn her into something she's not, but I can't let her out to explore and run around when she's acting all jumpy.

Hm. I have two girls that do not like to be touched, but letting them out improves the situation, they feel more in control then, they know they have always the option to hop far away (which they do often enough :( ). When they graze or chill out in the garden I kneel beside them, pluck some weeds, just getting them used that I'm really close, over time that helps that they don't act embarrassed when I touch them. I too do that thing with touching whike giving treats too, but as far as I can tell having me close and "accidentially" brushing a hand over their side now and then works too. Needs quite some patience, but I like doing it. So much more rewarding than an easy pet :D.

One of my bunnies always acted that way, he would always avoid the hand but now he will just back down and lower his head. He loves being petted, I love seeing his eyes slowly close and listening to his bunny purring.

Still trying to win his trust and love [emoji5]

I like easy pet more because I love snuggling up with my bunnies and cuddle with them.

So I’m glad that the majority of my bunnies love being a lazy bun with me.
