Hi I'm a college student and I have finals this week and my bunny sleeps in her cage (large dog kennel) and every night I fill her water up/ food and let her out the next day at 12pm when I get home from class to run around my room and play but today I was at the library studying until 11:45 so I didn't get home until 12am. My bunny has been in her cage for almost 24hrs she had plenty of room , toys, food & water but she's never gone a whole 24 hours in her cage. She seems fine and is as playful as ever but should I put her back in her cage to sleep tonight like usual or let her stay out of her cage all night just so she has more time for exercise? I know they like to stick to a schedule so I don't want to mess it up. Please respond so I know what to do for tonight I'll probably be going to bed within the hour. Thanks!

She chews on my walls and chews up my carpet which is why I keep her in her cage at night or when I'm not home but she just is having such a good time running around my room right now

Ideally rabbits get at least several hours out of their cage a day, but we all have times when our schedule is less than ideal. As long as she has plenty of food and water and is in a clean, comfortable environment she should be fine. I would choose caging her over leaving her out while you're asleep if your area isn't totally bunny proofed and you think there's a chance she could get into something.
Good luck on your exams! Access to lucky bunny feet usually helps me (I find they're luckiest when still attached to the rabbit).

Can you set up a play pen for her to stretch her legs in during the day? You can purchase an x pen or build a diy play pen with chicken wire. Most rabbits do most of their exploring during the morning and evening time and usually lounge during the day.
It wouldn't cost very much money to set up a little play pen with a few cardboard boxes thrown in there for her to keep herself entertained when you can't make it home early enough.

Yeah I'm trying to get one but my bedroom floor is carpet and she likes to chew it up and make bald spots in it.

I feel ya. My rabbit chews just about anything in sight as soon as she is let out of her enclosure. Try to get her some wooden blocks. Mine loves it.

To protect your carpet your could get a piece of flooring that can sit on your rug in the play pen area like sheet vinyl flooring, or even just a piece of plywood covered with a blankie.

I just lay down cardboard and they have at it instead of the carpet ( had that problem at the apt. )

There are in pet-shops playpens with their own floor.(and they aren't small)
I saw it in the internet page of Petco.
