Buy I don't get it as we got the buck about 3 weeks ago and a rexes pregnancy is about 28 days.. That means they started mating almost immediately wow my mum said maybe because there was a girl in the hutch it incuridge him but so weird it happend on my birthday and my cousin apologised for her bad knowledge of how many weeks pregnant she was lol!

It's ok to pick them up and check them to see if they are all alive and healthy mum shouldn't get cranky and she won't reject them if you touch them

Does any one eels get really upset when you see rabbits behind bars all day long with no run for them to run around in makes me so mad !!!!

Not really. A six foot cage or a three foot cage, it's still a life in a cage.

One of the babies wasn't moving that much so I picked it up to see if it was dead or not and when I picked it up it was like it had an energy boost lol it didn't appear dead any more

And as long as rabbits have enough room to run around to cage and enough room to move they should be fine kept in a hutch or house rabbit cage oh and if they have toys as well as rabbits get bored

Rabbits are nocturnal by nature. So the babies will be sleeping and barely moving more often than not

Oh right OK Ebony is taking care of them really well for a first time mum, the babies are all still alive and look like they have been fed as the are round bellied, well they was when I last checked them isn't that a Singh they have been nursed? Any way yeah they are really cute but when they get older when they start eating solids witch food is best for them?

That's the sign they're getting nursed. Sometimes it won't be fully plump, but that's fine.

I take out the best box at 2-3 weeks. Around that same time, I'll start sitting small bowls of pellets in there with them. Then they can wean themselves as they see fit and at their own pace. Not lost any doing this yet. They'll nibble it and straw as they see fit.

Do NOT add vegetables and so on until they're older. Everyone has a different suggestion for that time, it seems, but Just make sure they're fully transitioned off of nursing first.

At least you have some type of warning. I didn't even know my rabbit was pregnant. It was actually my friends rabbit I was babysitting and I was on vacation when she gave birth. We think she got pregnant when my lionhead got out and I hadn't put bricks under her cage to hold it up yet so it was the perfect height for him to do it through the wire. It was a mess.

A few Singh's to tell a rabbit is pregnant, they start nest building, get more aggressive and when the babies are gonna be born they shed a lot, i mean a lot of fur! My rabbit has had her babies now I hope ur friends babies are doing well enjoy them they don't stay little for long!

Well it was her first litter and they ended up all dying but anyway she hadnt done any of those things but she was eating a lot more and was laying down a bit more and the day before she had her babies jumped out of her cage making these sounds. But we got her in time and after she had them she was back to normal.
