So in two months I'm going to be moving. It's not a far move, just a couple of miles into a bigger better apartment. I'm not so concerned with transporting Oscar to the new place, my concern is how he will handle it.
What do any of you guys do to help your bunnies so it's not so stressful bringing them to a new home?ImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1404158699.943287.jpg

I took my bunny to school with me last year and she handled the three hour drive just fine several times, so I would say your right not to worry about the drive. To let her adjust, I let her into the new apartment and simply followed her around for a few hours while she explored to her hearts content and became familiar with the layout and where all of her things were. Just let Oscar familiarize himself with his new home in his own time :)

My rabbit LOVES going on car rides to does your rabbit if he does then I think he would be fine ;)

I just moved with Alfy. I'm amazed at how quickly she settled in. I just made sure that when we got to the new place her cage was up and she went straight in it. It had her familiar smelling fleece and cushion in it. I think she prefers the new place to the old one- she certainly seems very chilled out here :)
