Sorry about the username, this is SnowyShiloh. I got a new laptop several days ago and apparently my password for my regular account was changed from what it had been for years and years, don't remember what it was changed to and I don't have access to the e-mail address I used when I created the SnowyShiloh account! I created this account a few years ago so I could make a few posts from the point of view of my bunny, Rory. Anyhoo, explanation aside...
Earlier this evening, I found a lump on my little man's belly. He's an approximately 5 year old unneutered Polish boy (he'll get neutered, just haven't gotten around to it yet- we've had him less than a year and recently acquired $15,000 worth of my own medical bills so we're only doing the necessities right now, plus we spent $300 earlier today for the necropsy and cremation of my beloved little Mabel bunny). He's nice and plump and healthy, acting completely normal, eats his timothy pellets and hay and veggies. The lump is the size of a small pea and is in line with where his nipples must run. I can't tell if it's actually under a nipple or not because his nipples are tiny and hard to see. Can't tell if it's red either because his skin under his fur is very dark (he's chocolate colored). I'm not sure if it hurt him or not when I touched him, he did flinch once when I touched it but not the other times and he's kind of high strung so the flinch may have been unrelated.
Does anyone know what this could be? I'm very worried. In the morning I will of course make a vet appointment for him, I really hope it's nothing serious Cyst maybe, or abscess, or benign tumor...
