So my handsome 6 month old male Alais i have noticed
Does not sleep at all!!!
I find it strange since my female Tofu is a sleeper she spreads out and flops down but he is ALWAYS awake
Is that normal?!

Have a gay day

Since rabbits are prey animals, sometimes they sleep with their eyes open.
To tell if your rabbit is sleeping, check his nose, to see if its moving. When they're sleeping their noses don't twitch and they're really still, sometimes with eyes open.
How long have you had him? He may not be comfortable enough to flop out yet like your Tofu.

My rabbit sleeps in a bunloaf position a lot of the time, only really flopping out at night when everyone has gone to bed. But she sleeps almost all day long with eyes half open.

My rabbit only flops if it's REALLY HOT (In the height of the summer) otherwise he always sleeps in bunloaf (on all fours) with his eyes open. You wouldn't know that he's sleeping. He looks exactly like he's awake... but I can tell the difference sometimes.

That's probably what your rabbit is doing. Don't worry hes fine :)

Each bunny is different. I never saw my first rabbit flat out asleep at any time during his 7 years of life. He would doze a little sometimes but not while lying down, he would do it in the loafing position and would open his eyes at the slightest sound and often wouldn't even have his eyes closed all the way. He was a Netherland Dwarf. I was very alarmed the first time I found my next bunny, a Mini Lop, lying in the bottom of his cage with his eyes shut and flopped out completely on his side! He didn't wake up when I said his name OR when I yelled his name OR opened the cage, but woke up when I touched him. He's just a heavy sleeper, though. I think he even dreams sometimes because I see him asleep but with his paws and nose twitching and I can see his eyes moving around (even though they're closed). My other bunnies fall somewhere in between, some of them actually lay down and sleep and the others are dozers :)
