his left eye is teary and red around the edges. I took him to the vet and they gave me drop and antibiotics.. hes been on there for alittle over a week and it doesnt seem to be getting much better.. anyone else have this issue? im worried, the vet said it was getting better but to me it doesnt look like it.

I am pretty much sure that vet said to contact them in this situation..... didn't they?

Keep doing what you were doing. How long were they perscribed for?
I really thought it should improve within a few days if it was a bacterial infection and the AB was chosen correctly. 7 days is a maximum for AB treatment, I thought.

Depends on the antibiotic. 7, 10, 14, 21, 28.... Most average a 2 week course... Some need MUCH longer
You need to follow your vets direction and continue using the medication until the length of time your vet has determined is up. I would however contact them prior to that time being up in case they want to lengthen the time period the drops are used for.
Is this your rabbit Thumperina? Or is this the OP's rabbit?

The length of time for antibiotic use is totally dependent on the patient and the situation... so putting a rabbit on antibiotics for years or life is not out of the question if the result is positive... but if there is no response after a week, an alternative treatment/diagnostic route should be sought. We have several ophthalmologists in our area that like seeing rabbits and are good at diagnosing blocked tear ducts, abnormal eye lash growth, abnormal eye pressures etc. which can all be diagnosed as eye infections. If this is an option for you, I would certainly recommend it.

I just ran into this same issue when I had my male neutered. Apparently Binky's tear duct was blocked and they had to flush it out and he ended up with drops. Fortunately they were able to flush it while he was out for the neuter or else I can't imagine how you would pull that off.

My one rabbit had an ongoing off and on issue like this. Using the drops for a few days would get rid of it.
