My first show!!!

Hi, I'm having my first show today!, leaving soon. I'm so excited. Its just a little county fair, but hey, theres a start.

This is my first show (of course) so does anyone have any tips or suggestions? That would be very helpful. Also, is what I'm wearing ok... I'm wearing jeans and a nice dressy t-shirt. Is that ok?

Yay that's so exciting! Good luck! Honestly people don't dress up at all unless your in showmanship. Listen closely for your breed and bring something for down time cause there is a lot of it!

She means you sit around a lot waiting for your bred to show. Are you doing this as part of 4-H or FFA?

majorv: No, this is just a rabbit show close to me, it was a county fair and this is the first year they did a rabbit show.

Well, I found out my bun isn't a holland lop (which I had already figured) he is a Mini Lop. Since he was the only one of that breed I won a ribbon for 'Best of Breed'. But a Holland Lop (which I do have to admit was cute) got first. Then a Flemish Giant got second.

Besides finding out your rabbit is a mini lop, did the judge have any other comments?
