Such an adorable bunny! And the breeder for my female rabbit said the same, I got to know her for a while and decided to get her fixed because she often grunted and pounced on me, maybe get to know the bunny first, and good luck!
Yeah I did a similar thing, I started by putting their poop they had already done in their litter box so they understand the scent and then put a treat in their litter box so they got used to sitting in it, this worked within a week or so!
I think getting him fixed will help; male rabbits who haven't been neutered are always very aggressive and hard to get along with. Getting him done will improve his behaviour a lot although if you do decide to get him fixed you need to slowly build up a relationship with the rabbit.
My rabbits shed all year round! All rabbits shed at different times and take as long as they need, my rabbit starts shedding in June and finishes around September, but my other rabbit start shedding in April and finishes in October. I'm sure it's fine
My friends rabbit had a terrible case of having poo around it bum all the time, it was because the rabbit was being overfeed, but because benji isn't over weight it could just mean he's being fed the wrong foods and needs to try a different brand of pellets. You could try that and make sure to...
I like to change up their pen everyday so they have a big area to explore frequently and when I do I just hide small treats around their pen, they have fun sniffing around for them 😊
My rabbits live outside and I like use wood shavings, they are comfy for the rabbits and also easy to clean out. Although I sometimes put newspaper under the wood shavings to insulate the floor of their cage, hope this helps!🐰
