    More litterbox woes... (young girls)

Whoops.. one more question: I plan on buying a big X-pen to let them play (with supervision) in the backyard now that the weather is nicer. Should I put a litterbox in the X-pen.. even though it's outside? If it'll help seal litterbox habits, no problem.. but it's not necessary because it's outside.

    More litterbox woes... (young girls)

My 2 female bunnies are now 4 months old. I've never gotten them perfect with the litterbox. While confined to their NIC cage, they go about 80% poo in the litterbox.. with the occasional pee accident, which I try to quickly wipe up with white vinegar the moment I see it. The main problem is...

Help with litter-training 3 month olds?

I put their pen on a tile floor and have started quickly wiping up any poop&pee accidents and putting them in their litterbox. I'll see if this helps! They are staying here until their habits improve. Luckily for them, it's a pretty big pen, so they should be OK with no outside-cage time for a...

Help with litter-training 3 month olds?

I have two 3 month old sister buns. I was told that they're good with their litter-box, but I am having a tough time. I have a plastic bin in their cage. I put the same litter they were used to, and then a layer of hay on top. They have the run of a small room with their cage open. They are...

    Inexpensive spaying in CT area?

I need to get my girls spayed within a few months. Is anyone here from the southern CT area who can recommend a good bunny vet? And more importantly, a lower-cost bunny vet? The vet I bring my dog to said they charge $300 for ONE spay! $600 really hurts; there's no way I can afford that without...

    HELP! Do I separate them????

I ended up giving them free-run of my guest bedroom with their cage open to come and go for food/bathroom and the underneath part of the bed blocked off for easy cleaning of the floor. I entered the room this evening to find them grooming each other!! I guess that cage the girl had them in was...

    HELP! Do I separate them????

Thanks for that idea! I could definitely do a homemade cube cage. I have 2 days off from work next week, so I will work on it then. I'm sure I'll be back for cage ideas. LOL.

    HELP! Do I separate them????

I recently took in two 3 month old sister rabbits from a coworker who bought them from a rabbit show at 9 weeks and then didn't want them. She was "bored" after a few days of them, she said.. and upset that they weren't 100% litterbox trained. She told me she was bringing them to a pet store. I...
